Coffee Table
A cherry and walnut burl coffee table. I would like to tackle building a Windsor chair and this was a pre-cursor to that, the turned legs and stretcher were a test to practice my turning and joinery skills off the lathe. The top features a quarter match walnut burl surounded by a cherry frame with bridle joints at the corners. I put in some decorative inlay banding between the veneered panel and the cherry frame, the banding is shop made alternating squares of cherry and walnut endgrain. This was completed in March 2022.
