Secretary Desk
A Queen Anne style secretary desk built from cherry and poplar. The base has elegant cabriole legs and is helf together with mortise & tenon joints. The top is dovetailed, the drop front desk surface has breadboard ends. The gallery has a secret drawer for storing special items. I detailed the build for this desk on the Canadian Woodworking Magazine forums, I won the best build for that month and this appeared in the issue. The desk was completed in February 2016.
