I've always thought stacking bookcases were really neat, wasteful as far as wood use, but worth the waste. I built this set from cherry with a walnut base to match my other basement furniture. I used walnut burl for the sliding door panels and went with a tropical fish theme for the marquetry. Behind one of the doors is a pull out shelf and wine rack. I built this in 2023.
