More Veneered Boxes

A couple more veneered boxes. The first is carpathian elm with cherry edging, I also tried doing black-white-black banding next to the edging which gives it a very cool look. The inside is a veneer pattern I copied from one of W. Patrick Edwards boxes that I thought was very neat.
The second box is quilted bubinga, my first box where I didn't put hardwood edging on the corners, it gives it a very clean look. The inside features a lotus flower which symbolizes 'new beginnings' appropriate because I was building this box while we were packing up our home to move. Both boxes are lined with suede. These were completed in 2020.
