Another round of veneered boxes. I went heavy on the marquetry/parquetry for both boxes. Both boxes feature a parquetry exterior, one all maple has the grain shift every piece. The other is a checkerboard of maple and mahogany. The maple box features a monarch marquetry butterfly on the interio and exterior. The checkerboard box features a fox marquetry on the lid interior. These boxes were completed in November 2021.
